Patient Participation Group

The Wargrave Surgery Patient Participation Group was set up by the doctors in March 2007.  The Group were all invited to participate based upon their known interests and experience of local health services.

The Groups main objective is to try to represent the views of patients to the doctors and their colleagues.  We do this mainly by the distribution of questionnaires and we have been able to poll nearly 5% of registered patients in each of the three questionnaire issued to date.

We see ourselves as an independent body and we anonymise all comments received from patients in questionnaires and elsewhere before passing them on to the Surgery.

We can be contacted via wargravesurgerynet@lloyd.adsl24.co.uk (note ADSL24 in lower case)

The current membership is:

Tom Berman (Chair), Jim Donovan, Sue Griffiths, Tony Lloyd, Tony May and Pam Sumner.

Our meetings are generally attended by one or more of the GPs plus either the Practice Manager or Senior Receptionist.
