The MSK team wish to increase awareness of the getUBetter app amongst patients, to assist them whilst they are waiting for an MSK (Physio) service and to help to reduce waiting times for those services.

Reminder of key facts about the app:

• Funded by BOB ICB- FREE for patients to use; FREE for clinicians to signpost their patients to
• Clinically approved and regularly reviewed by Berkshire West MSK leads
• Featured on BOB Staywell website to raise awareness & promote access [ https://staywell-bob.nhs.uk/musculoskeletal/ ]

• Assists patients in safely self-managing ALL common Muscle, Bone, and Joint conditions, including Osteo Arthritis
• Provides information and guidance about why patients may be on a Waiting List and what they can do whilst they wait
• Easy to follow exercise videos, which are narrated and available with subtitles in 14 languages
• No referral required – the app can be downloaded from The App Store/Google Play
• Full Red-Flag screening completed on registration for every condition
• Supports the following conditions: Back, Back and Leg, Shoulder, Neck, Elbow, Wrist, Hand, Hip, Knee, Ankle, Foot, Upper Limb Tendinopathy, Lower Limb Tendinopathy, Sprains and strains
