You may have heard in the news that tirzepatide (Mounjaro) can now be prescribed in General Practice for weight loss.
Please be aware that only a small number of our patients will be eligible for this in the first roll out phase.
If you are eligible, please be assured that we will contact you proactively to check whether you would like to start treatment or not.
There is an additional existing weight management service available for those with a body mass index (BMI) over 40 or with a BMI over 35 for those with other conditions related to obesity, such as diabetes or heart disease.
