Patient Participation Group
The Patient Participation Group exists to strengthen communication between patients and the surgery, delivering positive health outcomes for the local community.
The Wargrave Surgery Participation Group was set up by the doctors in March 2007. The Group were all invited to participate based on their known interests and experience of local health services.
The areas of work include:
- Communication within the Community and with the Surgery
- Regular Surveys
- Liaising with the Piggott Senior School
- Working with Lloyds Pharmacy
- Interacting with Village Groups
- Organising Health Seminars
The current Group Members are:
- Andy Ferguson (Chairman)
- Jo Glasby
- Sue Griffiths
- Tony Lloyd
- Jane Love
- Lisa Sayers
- Barbara Sears
- Judith Stephenson-Hodges
- Kate Wilson
- Mark Puddy
- Jim Kennedy
- Dan Alton
- Aimee Stocks
- Stephen Collier
We are always on the look out for new Group Members, although we do try to keep the group as representative as we can, with a balance of patients with a variety of backgrounds, of different ages, and living in different parts of the surgery area. If you would like to join the group contact Jo Glasby or the Chairman.
The Group meet 4/5 times a year.
The Group are able to undertake surveys as a result of people becoming members of the Patient Reference Group. Everyone registered at the Wargrave Practice is entitled to become a member.
To participate in surveys and to receive email communication, please complete our online Patient Participation Group Registration form.
