We are pleased to announce that we have received a small supply of flu vaccines.
This supply has been ring fenced for our patients that are clinically vulnerable to influenza and are aged between 18 to 64. These patients have received a text expressing that it will a Flu drop-in centre held at the Wargrave Fire Station and no appointments are required.
Our first clinic will be on Wednesday 22nd September between 14:00-15:00 for patients with surnames starting from A – L. We only have capacity to issue 160 vaccines, and it will be on a first come first served basis.
Our second clinic will be on Friday 24th September between 14:00-15:00 for patients with surnames starting from M -Z. We only have capacity to issue 160 vaccines, and it will be on a first come first served basis.
We understand that this is an unusual arrangement for holding our clinics, but we felt speed takes precedence over our usual methodology to ensure that we start our Flu programme as soon as possible. We are aware that there may be a number of patients that will be disappointed in not receiving their Flu vaccine from our initial clinics but please be assured that we are working hard on procuring further vaccines and we will contact you directly to offer your vaccination in the near future.
There is no need to call the reception team regarding arrangements as this is not a bookable clinic.
Please ensure that you have you completed consent form prior to attending the Flu clinic.
