The South Central Ambulance service provides transport for patients who are unable or who have no other means of transport. This includes those who are:
- Attending hospital outpatient appointment
- Being admitted or discharged from hospital
- Needing life-saving treatments such as radiotherapy, chemotherapy or renal dialysis or DVT treatment.
When booking transport you will be asked for your NHS Number. This can be found on any prescriptions or repeat prescription that you may have had. You can use the NHS website to find your NHS number.

- If you are eligible, please ring 0300 123 3235 to book transport available 24/7 365 days a year.
